Prayer

At Northgate Church we believe that prayer makes a difference! We believe in a God who loves it when we listen and speak to him. Prayer is an essential part of our life together as the family of God. It helps us to develop our relationship with our Creator God through the Holy Spirit. This is expressed in many ways within the life of the Church in our corporate gatherings, Network Groups, and all the different ministry areas.

We believe that God hears our prayers and answers them according to His sovereign plan. Prayer and intercession can make a real difference, and if it wasn't important, Jesus wouldn't have taught us how to pray and encouraged us to do so in all circumstances.

Some of the different ways we come together to pray are listed below:

Saturday Morning Prayer. In the Main Hall. 8.30am - 9.30am led by Gordon and Shirley Dobson.

Ladies Prayer/Intercession Group. This meets from 10am - 11.45am on a Thursday morning at The Studio.

Network and Ministry Group Prayer. Prayer is a key part of all of our group meetings.

24/7 Prayer Weeks. At certain times of the year the church mobilises and covers the whole week in prayer.

24 Hour Prayer Room. We also open up a room at the Church building where people can come and pray in a creative and stimulating environment. Watch out for details of our next 24 hour prayer room.
