India-Hope Fund

Many children in India and Sri Lanka have a very poor diet, little clothing and no chance of a good education. Destined to repeat their parents' lives of illiteracy and poverty, they begin working in the fields, tending the family animals or working in small village industries at a very young age.
But now you can bridge the gap and play an active part in bringing hope to hundreds of children who just need an opportunity for change.

The HOPE FUND sponsorship programme provides an opportunity to educate and care for the welfare of a child in Asia. It will also give you the unique privilege of encouraging your child and his or her family through prayer, and you will be able to correspond with the help of local interpreters.
£16 per month (one pound for administration) offers hope and a future with the provision of education, food and clothing. £10 is sent to the child each month through local churches in their areas. £5 is put into a trust until the child reaches age 17, at which time this money can be put towards a higher education or used to start a small business, or whatever is needed for each child.
When you start sponsoring a child you will receive a photo and some information about your child. You will also receive a periodic update on his or her progress.
