Graham Kendrick - dreaming of a holy night - 13/12/08 7:30pm
 Dreaming of a Holy Night’ will be an evening to be inspired again by the Christmas Story with family and friends set in the atmospheric surroundings of Chester Cathedral. Graham Kendrick will perform songs from the Dreaming of a Holy Night album, together with band and singers, a local choir and up and coming vocalist Philippa Hannah [the voice of Mary on the album]. Presented under atmospheric lighting and with evocative visuals, the music expresses a heartfelt longing for a different kind of world – where the peace and goodwill we associate with the best of the Christmas season becomes a reality for everyone. With words from the Gospel accounts and echoes of traditional carols it explores history’s greatest story both from the inside – through some of its characters, and from the outside– looking back in awe at the incarnation, whilst longing for the fulfilment of what began on that holy night.
